A resident of Norwood Park since 1994, Paul Benson has a diverse work history that makes him well suited to handle the various needs of his clients.  Paul has worked in both construction and finance. For nine years, he served as sales engineer and principal in a commercial air-conditioning contracting business before switching careers and joining the finance industry. Paul then spent 13 years as an options market maker on the Chicago Board Options Exchange as a floor trader; he spent an additional four years as an off-the-floor trader.  In addition to construction and finance, Paul has also been a real estate investor in multifamily properties.

He is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s College of Engineering and holds a Master of Business in Finance from DePaul University.  Paul and his wife of 20 years, Carolyn, are raising three daughters, which inspired him to coach youth soccer and basketball—an activity he’s done for the past 14 years.
